In August 2011 Renato Unterberg and The Pond Pirates had the honour to perform a charity concert for the Temi Community in the Republic of Georgia. The day after they were invited to spend a day with the community to work with those wonderful people.

Temi Community aims to develop its capacity to earn a sustainable income, in order to provide a safe and stimulating environment in which its members can develop to their full potential. This requires the provision of facilities, resources, and life opportunities, as well as love, and mental and physical care and encouragement. Temi also ultimately aims to exist without harming the environment through pollution or degradation, as there is no financial or community sustainability without protection and stewarding of the one world in which we all live, and respect for life and the environment are inseparable.

AFP-Logo

AFP, an art movement founded by landscape-architect and poet Markus Treppo, is a call to wildly plant trees and flowers in order to create life. AFP is a non profit movement. It can be seen as a political party representing the thoughts of mountains. We want the world and the retreat of all not believers. AFP makes individuals use their common human sense and connects all individuals thinking in the same spiritual way. AFP will not place money on banks.

The song is also inspired by the book of Jean Giono “The Man Who Planted Trees”.
